Analysis: Georgetown 64, Syracuse 62 [OT]

For once, it wasn't the defense that was the problem, but rather poor offensive execution in the 2nd half (and all credit should go to the Syracuse defense here) that allowed the Orangemen to take a seemingly decisive 58-51 lead with 4:34 left in the game. But the Hoyas were able to close on a 9-2 run to send the game into overtime, where the exhausted Syracuse players were unable to make shots (0-3 2FG, 0-3 3FG, 2-7 FT).
