Brian,
ReplyDeleteWould be very interested in your thoughts on the current offensive woes the hoyas are encountering.
I'm not a basketball stat guy, so I am curious: are the tempo adjusted offensive statistics casting the Hoya's offense in a better light than the recent scores have indicated?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I can add too much more beyond what is being discussed over at Hoyatalk or Casual Hoya.
I do think that Mikael Hopkins is becoming a bit too much of this season's scapegoat for the team's offensive problems. I didn't really expect much from Hopkins this year, and if he can simply reduce his usage rate to less than 25% or so, he'll be adequate - especially considering the Hoyas' other options in the middle.
I'm more concerned with Starks inconsistency and Whittington's completely broken outside shot.
